13 Branding Blog Posts that Will Explode Your Brand

Throughout my branding journey, I have discovered some amazing branding blog posts that have inspired me to brand and grow my blogging business. Today, I am going to share my favorite branding blog posts with you to help you do the same.

These blog posts tackle nearly every part of the branding process and have allowed me to develop a stronger, more impactful brand. They will help you improve and grow your brand wicked fast so be prepared to take notes and action.

Using These Posts to Brand Your Blog

I recommend that your focus first on defining your brand, as I explained in “How to Find Your Blog’s Perfect Brand Identity.” You can also download the free questionnaire from that post to help you through the process.

Once you understand the specifics of your brand identity, you will be able to begin the branding process. This starts with the Branding 101 blog posts on this list. If you are on a budget, no worries, the posts in the Budget Branding section will help you brand your blog with free and low-cost resources.

After gaining a thorough understanding, I recommend developing a voice for your brand and establishing non-visual branding, then moving on to the visual elements such as color palettes, fonts, and your logo.

Finally, I have also included a Social Media Branding post as social media plays an important role in developing and marketing your brand. You may also check out my previous post on the importance of branding your blog images here.

Just remember to take your time to ensure that you are getting the most out of these resources. Rushing through the branding process will only complicate things down the road, so take it slowly.

This post by Ashlyn Carter is one of the most unique branding blog posts that I have seen because her business is comprised of two separate functions and yet, she makes the branding successfully work for both.

I will, however, caution bloggers that if you are planning on having a niche blog, it is often in your best interest to separate your topics. The advice in this post would work better for bloggers in the lifestyle blog niche.

This post is more general than the previous post but no less informative. I included it in this list of branding blog posts because Kristen has excellent advice on how to be authentic and keep your voice audience-centered.

I love that she explains why you may or may not choose a free or paid font. Personally, I try to stick with Google fonts because I can use them on Canva and every other program on my computer. However, paid fonts can help your brand stand out, especially your visual identity.
